PUBLIC NOTICE
BID ADVERTISEMENT

The CITY OF OXFORD, Mississippi, is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the following project:

SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
HOWELL LOOP LIFT STATION
PROJECT NO. ENG4Q26-SS1

Improvements include the installation and construction of a sewer lift station near Howell Loop. The technical specifications, construction drawings, and contract documents are available to bidders at www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. The Bids may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, Federal Express (FEDEX), United Parcel Service (UPS), or electronic submission. All bids are due on Monday, October 26th, 2026 at 10:00 am.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award. The project will be awarded based on the best-qualified bid and is subject to the approval of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. The Board of Aldermen reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors, and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.
