IN THE CHANCERY COURT OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
IN RE: ESTATE OF MARY LOU HOLMES GOSSETT, DECEASED
DEAN GOSSETT, ADMINISTRATOR
CAUSE NO:
36CH1:26CV-346-LL
SUMMONS

TO: The Heirs at Law of Mary Lou Holmes Gossett, deceased, known and unknown, and any and all other persons claiming or having a legal or equitable interest in the Estate of Mary Lou Holmes Gossett, deceased, whose name, residences, whereabouts, post office addresses, and street addresses are unknown to the Petitioner, Dean Gossett, Administrator, after diligent search and inquiry to ascertain the same.
YOU ARE MADE a defendant to a Petition for Determination of heirs of Mary Lou Holmes Gossett filed in this Court by Dean Gossett, Administrator as Petitioner, seeking an adjudication that:
Ann Sockwell, Rita Clark, Peggy Montgomery, William Gossett, Sammy Gossett, Johnny Gossett, Dean Gossett are the only heirs at law of Mary Lou Holmes Gossett, deceased, who passed away while a resident citizen of this County on the 27th day of November, 2025;
The decedent died intestate, seized of personal and real propertywhile being an adult resident citizen of Lafayette County, Mississippi; and
The decedent left as her heir(s) at law the following, and only the following person(s):
Ann Sockwell, Rita Clark, Peggy Montgomery, William Gossett, Sammy Gossett, Johnny Gossett, Dean Gossett
The above are the only interested party/parties and respondent(s) hereto.
No other person(s) owns any right, title or interest to the property of the decedent.
YOU ARE SUMMONED TO APPEAR AND DEFEND against the complaint or petition filed against you in this action at 9:30 o’clock, a.m., on the 30th day of September, 2026 in the ChanceryCourtroom ofCalhoun County in Pittsboro, Mississippi to show cause unto this Court as to your standing as an heir of Mary Lou Holmes Gossett, who departed this life on the 27th day of November, 2025, and to show cause as to why said heirship should not be finally determined, and in case of yourfailure to appear and defend a judgment will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the complaint for petition.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED to file an answer or other pleading but may do so if you desire.
