TO: THE UNKNOWN HEIRS AT LAW OF JOHN DAVID PARKS, DECEASED
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO YOU that Madison Parks has filed a Petition to Determine Heirs at Law in the Chancery Court of Lafayette County, Mississippi in the above entitled cause seeking a judicial determination that Madison Parks and Josie M. Parks are the sole heirs at law of John David Parks, deceased, and are each entitled to an undivided one-half (1/2) interest in certain real property located in Lafayette County, Mississippi, more particularly described as:
Parcel ID 233-07-021.00 (PPIN 12806), located at 45 CR 376, Water Valley, Mississippi 38965
YOU ARE SUMMONED to appear and defend at a hearing on the Petition to be held in the Chancery Court of Lafayette County, Mississippi, located at 300 N. Lamar Blvd., Oxford, Mississippi, on the 25th day of September, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., and in the event of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment will be entered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition, including a determination that you have no interest, as an heir at law or otherwise, in the real property described above.
You are not required to file a written answer or response prior to the hearing date, but you are required to appear at the time and place set forth above if you wish to assert any claim or interest in this matter. This Summons is issued pursuant to Rule 81 of the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure.
