Definition of Class
This position primarily provides administrative support to
facilitate operations and
activities of the Ole Miss
Athletics Foundation and
executes the Athletics
Foundation’s broad-based stewardship program. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
•Serves on the Athletics
Foundation team charged with the continual growth of revenue to provide financial
resources to the Ole Miss Athletics Department.
•Greets visitors and develops positive relationships between the Athletics Foundation and its visitors, donors and potential donors by welcoming them, assisting with their requests, addressing questions
regarding membership and donation credit, and ensuring prompt follow-up.
assistance to staff, compiles and organizes documents and
correspondence, and serves as a primary point of contact for the Athletics Foundation staff to campus departments and general public.
operations for the Athletics Foundation including
copier/printer maintenance, fleet vehicles, flower arrangement orders, autograph items, office supplies, golf cart maintenance, work orders, staff meeting agendas, internal events, job search logistics and new hire onboarding.
•Effectively and professionally communicates with donors, written and verbally.
•Assists donors in the
education and execution of processes such as seating & parking selections.
•Keeps track of inventory of available parking and seating for ticketed sports.
•Assists with incoming and outgoing mail.
•Maintains database of
Vaught Society members.
•Assists with stewardship events and donor gifts.
•Assists in the maintenance of accurate donor records and ensures that changes are
communicated to all who
maintain similar data.
•Coordinates the use of the off-campus condominium for coaches, staff and donors.
•Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with the Athletics Foundation, University,
Southeastern Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
•Performs similar or related duties as assigned.

Athletics in a positive manner by communicating
professionally and developing relationships with visitors,
donors, potential donors, fans and community members.
2. Provides administrative assistance to staff and
coordinates internal operations.
3. Coordinates and executes stewardship program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
•Computer application skills including but not limited to
Microsoft Excel and Word,
Apple products, donation
tracking software, and email.
•Knowledge of NCAA and SEC compliance rules and
•Knowledge of practices, principles and methods of fundraising.
•Ability to be highly energetic, self-starting, and creative.
•Ability to establish and
